called to serve

Ever since President Monson made the announcement of the age changes for missionary service, we have been watching the missionaries headed our way. We can only hope and pray that we can get them into the country as soon as possible. We currently have 15 missionaries on our wait list.

So…what’s coming up?

In March, we are looking for an additional 37 missionaries. Yes, 37. That is when we will see our first wave of sisters with 14 scheduled to arrive. In May, we are looking for 23 more missionaries, including 11 sisters; and in June, we currently have 19 missionaries on the list, 10 of whom are sisters.
When you do all of the math for the ins and the outs, our sister population will go from 28 to 48 by the end of June, and the elder population will go from 147 to 168. It is a very exciting time to be on a mission!

Desde que al Presidente Monson hizo el anuncio acerca de los cambios para las edades para el servicio misional, hemos estado mirando los misioneros que están viniendo acá. Podemos esperar y orar que ellos puedan entrar lo mas pronto posible. En este momento tenemos 15 misioneros esperando sus visas.

Entonces, que se viene_

En Marzo estamos buscando 37 misioneros. Si 37! Es cuando vamos a ver la primera ola de hermanas con 14 en nuestro horario. En Mayo estamos buscando 23 mas misioneros, incluyendo 11 hermanas y en Junio hasta ahora tenemos 19 misioneros en nuestra lista, 10 de ellos son hermanas.

Cuando hicimos todas las cuentas para ellos que están entrando y saliendo nuestra población de hermanas va a ir desde 28 a 48 para fines de Junio y la población de los elderes va a subir desde 147 a 168. Es un momento animado para estar en una misión.
