We had a wonderful multi-generational baptism. In the closing remarks after all the baptisms and confirmations, Presidente asked this angelic girl how old she was. Imagine his surprise, when she answered 7. His eyes got real big and he looked to her mother and the missionaries, who reassured him by telling him that she turned 8 the day before yesterday. The most elderly sister, who is 75, couldn’t help rejoicing by chanting, “Gloria!”, she was so full of joy! Tuvimos un bautismo buenísimo con tres generaciones. En sus últimos comentarios después de todos los bautismos y confirmaciones, el Presidente le pregunto a esta niña angelical cuantos anos tenia. Imagine su sorpresa cuando ella le contesto 7! Con ojos grandes el busco a su mama y los misioneros quienes le aseguraron diciendo que su cumpleaños de 8 fue anteayer. La mujer mayor con 75 anos se regocijo diciendo muchas veces ¨Gloria! Gloria a Dios!¨ Ella fue llena de gozo.

It was a bitter cold morning with the wind blowing off the Rio de la Plata. It was even threatening rain before we went into the Colon Theater. That didn’t deter the spirits of our missionaries, of course.

Their optimism was rewarded when we left the theater and found plenty of sunshine, albeit, without warmth. We had some time for shopping in La Boca before heading over to Siga la Vaca for our traditional lunch.

After lunch, we walked the Puente de la Mujer, stopped off at the Buenos Aires flower, visited the cemetery in Recoleta, and did some shopping.


Now that the days are shorter, we arrived at our favorite spot in Tres de Febrero just in time to share a special experience together as twilight was approaching.

Fue una mañana muy fría con el viento soplando del Rio de la Plata. Ademas parece que va a llover antes de ir a Teatro Colon. No cambio los espíritus de nuestros misioneros, por supuesto.

Su optimismo fue recompensado cuando salimos del teatro y encontramos mucho sol, sin embargo, sin calor.

Tuvimos tiempo de ir de compras en La Boca antes de nuestro almuerzo a Siga La Vaca para nuestro almuerzo tradicional.

Después, caminamos por el Puente de la Mujer, paramos en La Flor de Buenos Aires y visitamos el Cementerio en Recoleta e hicimos mas compras.

Con días mas cortos, llegamos a nuestro lugar favorito en Tres de Febrero justo a tiempo para compartir una experiencia muy especial juntos como el atardecer estaba llegando.

First of all, I have to give a shout out to the three young men below and the two sisters, second and fourth who are serving as minis right now and helping us to be able to keep more areas open while we wait.
Primero quiero dar nuestras gracias a los tres hombres jóvenes y a las dos hermanas (segundo y cuarto) quienes están sirviendo a mantener mas áreas abiertas mientras esperamos.

Segundo, quiero decir que los otros son los mejores misioneros en todo el mundo.

Second of all, I have to say that the rest are the best missionaries in all the world.
