On Monday our grandkids sent us this picture from the Miami Airport. They were pretty excited, but maybe not as excited as we were to see them!
Our oldest grandson, Carter, turned 12 on Tuesday and his father ordained him to the Aaronic Priesthood. On Wednesday, we went with his older sister and his parents to the Temple to complete family ordinance work.
Thursday, we left for campo. We spent the night at an estancia and with a little help from modern technology located the Southern Cross amidst the Milky Way in one of the most beautiful night skies I have ever seen in my life.
Apparently, it is visible in southern hemisphere skies year round.
We continued our journey through campo today and stopped off in Chivilcoy to surprise the missionaries and have lunch with them. We all love spending time with the missionaries!
Our last stop this afternoon was in Bragado. We visited with one of our favorite families and met the missionaries at their home. (In case you don’t recognize Presidente, he is the one in the green shirt. Yeah…the missionaries didn’t recognize him either.)
As we were homeward bound, we caught a couple of pictures of the missionaries on the way to their next appointments.
