What is saving the day for the mission, is the fact that we had six of our Pastores extend their mission. There were plans for them to be “Traveling Pastores” and to do training. The mission is very young right now and their experience and expertise are invaluable. We hope that they will still be able to do some of that. Some of them have taken over Presidente’s office preparing for their assignments. In the meantime, however, they are companions to missionaries that are awaiting their companions. Lo que esta salvando la misión ahora es el hecho que tuvimos 6 de nuestras Pastores que extendieron sus misiones. Tuvimos planes para que ellos sean ¨Pastores Viajantes¨ y que hagan entrenamiento. La misión es muy joven ahora y sus experiencias y conocimientos no tienen precio. Esperamos que ellos tengan aquella oportunidad. Algunos de ellos estan en la ofincia del Presidente preparandose para sus asignaciones. Mientras tanto, sin embargo, ellos son compañeros de los misioneros que estan esperando sus otros compañeros.
Our other saving grace is that we have 3 companionships of zone leaders that live in pensions that accommodate 4 elders. In addition to their other responsibilities, those zone leaders were going to be training…instead, they are manning two areas at the moment. We have three mini-missionaries working with us, and we also closed a couple of areas. Nuestra otra salvación es que tenemos 3 companerismos de líderes de zonas que viven en pensiones para 4 elderes. Con sus otras responsibilidades estos líderes de zonas iban a entrenar...pero ahora ellos estan trabajando en dos áreas. Tenemos 3 mini misioneros trabajando con nosotros y tenemos área cerradas.
Things are working out! Las cosas estan funcionando bien!
