First thing--The Colon Theater          Primero--Teatro Colon

We had a unique experience today. The tour guide was telling us about the acoustics in the Colon Theater and she asked if anyone would like to sing. I think she might have expected that no one would want to sing. Imagine her surprise when everyone wanted to sing. The entire group sang the mission song, and I don’t think that anyone was more moved by the experience than the guide. Tuvimos una experiencia única hoy. La guía estaba hablando acerca de la acústicas en el Teatro Colon y ella les pidió si alguien quería cantar. Creo que ella pensó que nadie iba a querer cantar. Imagine su sorpresa cuando todos querían cantar. Todos nosotros cantamos la cancion de la misión y yo no pienso que alguien estaba mas emocionado que nustra guía.

Next on the itinerary was the Casa Rosada, where we took the opportunity to take a “then and now” picture:

On our way to Boca, we saw that the stadium doors were open. The drivers of the two combi’s started their “permisso” lights and we all jumped out to take a few photos by the famous stadium.
Durante nuestro viaje a Boca vimos que las puertas del estadio estaban abiertas. Los conductores de las dos combis prendieron las valisas y fuimos a sacar fotos cerca del estadio famoso.







Lunch/Almuerzo

We crossed the Puente de la Mujer and visited the Cemetery at Recoleta.Then it was time for a little more shopping. Caminamos el Puente de la Mujer y visitamos el cementerio en Recoleta. Entonces fue el momento para hacer un poco mas compras.

When Presidente served his mission in Peru, he decided to bring a gift home for his future wife—whoever she was ;)  Cuando el Presidente sirvio su mision en Peru, el decidio traer un regalo a su casa para su futura esposa, quien quiera que fuera ;)
Some of the missionaries like that tradition, and I am sure that their future wives will like it just as much as I have! A algunos de los misioneros les gusta esa tradicion y estoy segura que a sus futuras esposas les va a gustar como a mi.



And, they still got to eat ice cream at Freddos.
Y ellos tuvieron tiempo de comer helado en Freddos.






Imagine our surprise when we were greeted at the park, Tres de Febrero, by an impressive parade.
Imagine nuestra sorpresa cuando vimos un desfile impresionante en el parque 3 de Febrero.
 
It was a picture perfect day. We took lots of fun photos…
Fue un dia perfecto para fotos. Sacamos fotos divertidas...
            
…as well as the traditional ones. ...y fotos tradicionales.
 
Back at the chapel, their converts were waiting to greet them.
Mientras en la capilla los conversos estuvieron esperando para hablar con sus misioneros.

The next day, their last day in the mission, is an especially sacred day for Presidente and me. Among other things, we spend the time sharing our love and testimonies. One of the missionaries said that he was very grateful for eternal families. Since we all belong to the family of God, we can be together not only with our biological families, but with one another and all those we love here in
El dia siguiente, su ultimo dia en la mision esun dia sagrado para el Presidente y para mi. Entre otras cosas usamos nuestro tiempo para compartir nuestro amor y testimonios. Uno de los misioneros nos dijo que el estaba muy agradecido por las familias eternas. Como somos la familia de Dios, podemos estar no solo juntos con nuestras familias biologicas sino tambien uno con el otro y con todos los que amamos aca en
