Normally, all the meetings in the mission are held in Spanish, for all the obvious reasons, however, today, Presidente decided that we were going to spend the morning speaking English. I have to give credit to the Latin elders who not only took it all in, but contributed throughout the morning sharing their comments and observations in English, as well.
After lunch, the leaders prepared for the specialized training that we have coming up the next couple of weeks.
To end the day, we attended a baptism. This great couple has been waiting 13 months going through the all steps and setbacks to complete a divorce and be married. They have attended church each week with their daughters, one of whom has already been baptized. She has been like the shining star in the family because she already has been baptized. You can imagine what it was like watching the baptism with so much joy in the room. When the baptisms were completed, our dear brother wrapped his arms around our dear missionary and sobbed.
Oh happy day!
Normalmente todas las reuníos en la misión están en Castellano por todas las razones obvias, sin embargo, hoy, el Presidente decidió que vamos a pasar la mañana hablando en Ingles. Quiero dar crédito a los elderes latinos quienes no solamente entendieron todo pero también contribuyeron sus pensamientos toda la mañana compartiendo sus comentarios y sus observaciones en ingles también.
Despue del almuerzo, los líderes se prepararon para el entrenamiento especial que tenemos durante las semanas que vienen.
A terminar el día asistimos a un bautismo. Esta pareja ha estado esperando 13 meses pasando todos los pasos y contratiempos para cumplir a la iglesia cada semana con sus hijas, una de ellas ha sido bautizado. Ella ha sido como una estrella brillante en su familia porque ya ella ha sido bautizado. Puede imaginar como fue mirando los bautismos con el cuarto lleno de gozo. Cuando los bautismos se estaban cumpliendo nuestro querido hermano dio un gran abrazo a nuestro querido misionero y lloro.
