chivilcoy norte

Working in campo has a whole different set of challenges compared to working in the city. When we arrived in the mission, we saw very few baptisms each month in campo. All that has changed, and in some branches the attendance has actually doubled!
This month something extra special happened in the zone of Chivilcoy Norte…not only did they have the most baptisms of any zone in the mission, but every single companionship baptized in their area.
We were in Lujan on Saturday and the zone leaders in Lujan told us they were praying for Chivilcoy Norte. It touched my heart. It is so beautiful to see how the whole mission is working together and praying and cheering for one another.
Most of the zone was together for their meeting today and they took some pictures for me. General Villegas was too far out to join in, but they sent me one, as well.

The field is ripe and ready to harvest…
and the missionaries are doing their work very well.

Trabajar en el campo tiene diferentes desafíos que trabajar en la ciudad. Cuando llegamos en la misión, había muy pocos bautismos cada mes en el campo. Todo ha cambiado y en algunas ramas la asistencia es doble.

Este mes algo muy especial paso en la zona de Chivilcoy Norte...ellos tuvieron mas bautismos que cada otra zona de la misión y cada compañerismo bautizaron en su area.

Estuvimos en Luján el Sábado y los líderes en Luján nos dijeron que ellos estuvieron orando por la zona de Chivilcoy Norte. Toco mi corazón. Es lindo ver como la misión entera esta trabajando y orando uno por el otro.
La mayoría de la zona fue se junto para su reunión hoy y ellos sacaron algunas fotos para mi. General Villegas fue demasiado lejos para reunirse con ellos , pero me mandaron una tambien.

El campo ya esta listo para la siega...y los misioneros están haciendo su obra muy bien.
