The city is bedecked with blue and white. Everyone will be talking about “the game” until Saturday, when Argentina plays again. It really is impressive how the whole country cheers at exactly the same moment for a most incredible show of national pride.
Meanwhile, we received our last group of refuerzos! They assured me that they had their full 6 weeks at the MTC. For us, however, they are coming off transfer. Basically, that means that our last transfer meeting was only four weeks ago. For the missionaries is means that their next transfer will occur in eight weeks. There were quite a few mission presidents worldwide that ended up in the same situation that we did. To have a transfer the week of a mission president change would be incredibly difficult and so, the church changed the transfer date.
