When we arrived in the mission, there were some traditions already in place. One of them was the tradition of Oreo Night. It happens every Thursday, with most of the missionaries participating.
The office chant goes like this:
oreo oreo,
leche, leche,
oreo, oreo,
leche, leche
or-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-r-eo,
oreo niiiiiight!
And then you dunk it into the milk.
Apparently, the different areas of the mission have their own traditional ways to celebrate oreo night. I asked two elders at the transfer meeting to share their oreo night routine.
We celebrated Oreo Night at the mission home this week…
and this is what is looked like after all was chanted and danced and done.
