The Church recently announced changes in acceptable clothing for missionaries and an update on backpacks. We would like all of our families to be aware of the circumstances here in the Buenos Aires West Mission.
*For the protection of our missionaries, we consider that it would be unsafe and unsanitary to wear sandals in our mission.
*Light colored suits and slacks will require additional maintenance that we believe is unrealistic for our missionaries, and therefore, we discourage them. In fact, the Argentine people in our area seldom wear light colored suits or slacks, probably for the same reason.
*Below are some pictures with elders wearing shoulder bags that our missionaries find useful. In compliance with the directions we have received, we will be asking all of our missionaries, that have more than six months left to serve, to purchase this type of bag. It can be worn over the shoulder or clipped at the hip line.
La iglesia recién anuncio cambios en la ropa para los misioneros y noticias acerca de las mochilas. Queremos que todas las familias sepan las circunstancias acá en la misión BAO.
Para la protección de nuestras misioneros sentimos que es peligroso y no es saludable para ellos llevar sandalias.
Trajes claro y pantalones claro van a necesitar mucho mas para mantener entonces queremos desanimar el uso de esta ropa. La gente acá no lleva trajes claros y tampoco pantalones claros tal vez por la mismo razón.
Abajo hay fotos con elderes llevando morrales que los misioneros piensan son muy útiles. Para cumplir con la dirección que tenemos vamos a pedir todos nuestros misioneros que todavía tienen mas de 6 meses para servir, compren esta tipo de bolsa. Puede llevarla sobre el hombro o enganchada en la cadera.
