Presidente has two counselors that help him with the needs of our two districts. In addition, there is a district president for each of the districts. This evening we had dinner with his two counselors and their wives (to the left and right of Presidente) and the district president and his wife from Chivilcoy. The district president from Mercedes was not able to come, but we will see him and his family tomorrow. I had to have a little laugh because it was really hard for them to even think of eating sooooo early. We ate just after 8, which is about an hour before most Argentines would consider normal. For those in the United States, you can think of it this way…a mission president has invited you to come to dinner at 4:00 pm. Personally, I like the tradition of eating later and spending the evening with friends. It is never dinner and…something else. Just dinner and chat. And that’s what we did.
