Just the other day, I was explaining to Presidente that when it comes to birthdays, we have two types of missionaries:
the ones who receive their candy and begin eating it immediately, so that by the time the conference is over they have almost finished the job
and the ones that save their candy and enjoy the anticipation of waiting until some future moment when they can savor the experience
Today we had two birthdays and an example of each!
Both are equally sure that they chose best. And for them, they did!
I imagine that the parents of our missionaries have a pretty good idea which road their missionary chooses…
El otro día estaba explicando al presidente que cuando hablamos acerca de cumpleaños tenemos dos tipos de misioneros:
Los que reciben dulces y empiezan a comer inmediatamente entonces cuando la conferencia termina ellos comieron casi todo
Y los que guardan sus dulces y piensan con anticipación hasta un momento en el futuro cuando ellos pueden disfrutar completamente la experiencia de comerlos.
Hoy, tuvimos dos cumpleaños y un ejemplo de cada tipo.
Los dos están seguros que su manera es mejor. Y para cada uno, es verdad.
Imagino que los padres de nuestros misioneros tienen una idea que calle su misionero elige...
