I was sitting in church today, and I was thinking about how nice it is that the whole mission is reading the Book of Mormon, and basically we are all reading the same thing at the same time. And then I felt horrible, because I thought that perhaps the families of our missionaries would like to read along with us, and it never occurred to me, before today, to invite you. 
Sooooo, even though it is late, it is not super late, and we would love to have everyone join us. You can just start right where we are if you want! The missionaries read on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We read about 11 pages each day. This week we are reading: Monday/Lunes: 2 Ne 23-27 Wednesday/Miercoles: 2 Ne 27-31 Thursday/Jueves: 2 Ne 31-Jacob 3 Friday/Viernes: Jacob 3-6 Saturday/Sabado: Jacob 6-Palabras de Mormon The mission is not doing the coloring program, but I think it is a fun way to track your reading as a family, so I am including it for two languages. (Actually, there are a ton of cute ideas for tracking progress on the internet.) Anyway, we welcome you to join us, and perhaps it will make another little connection with the life of your missionary! The truth is that I usually read on Sunday and Tuesday because as my week goes, I seem to have less and less time. I start out a little bit ahead and end the week right at the same point with everyone else. I am finding it to be such a blessing that the church has the Book of Mormon audio available on iTunes as a free download. I haven’t listened to the English, but I think the Spanish reader is really good! *I will put a little note on the side bar with the assignments in the coming weeks.*
Estaba sentada en la iglesia hoy y estaba pensando acerca de nuestro programa ahora y que lindo es tener todos los misioneros leyendo en el mismo lugar del libro de Mormón en mas o menos el mismo momento. Y después me sentí horrible, porque pensé que tal vez las familias de nuestros misioneros quieren leer con nosotros y nunca pensé en esta idea antes de hoy, invitarlos a Uds.
Entonces, aunque es retrasada, no es muy retrasada y seria buenísimo que todos lean juntos con nosotros. Pueden empezar justo donde estamos si quieren. Los misioneros leen el lunes, miércoles, jueves, viernes y sábado. Leímos mas o menos 11 paginas cada día. Esta semana vamos a leer
La misión no va a marcar con color para verificar, pero, pienso que es una manera divertida de verificar leyendo como una familia entonces lo voy a incluir para 2 idiomas. En realidad, hay un montón de ideas de este tipo por internet. Bueno, les damos la bienvenida a juntarse con otra conexión con la vida de su misionero.
La verdad es que normalmente leo el domingo y el martes porque a medida que pasa mi semana, parece que tengo menos y menos momentos para leer. Empiezo un poco adelante y termino la semana junto con los demás. Pienso que es una bendición que la iglesia tiene el libra de mormón en audio disponible gratis por itunes. No he escucho ingles, pero pienso que el lector de español es muy bueno. Voy a poner una nota al lado del blog con las asignaciones en las semanas que viene.
