march is here…

and with the arrival of one April refuerzo, we have hope that April is coming! I couldn’t sleep last night…I woke up at 4:00 in the morning just to double check that the flight was one its way! There were sooooo many smiles. Tired smiles…but happy, happy smiles from all parties.
You can imagine the reunion in Atlanta last night when our separated missionaries met up with each other again.

After completing all the paperwork, we went to the CCM to pick up our Latin refuerzos. I think this is the first time that none of them are waiters. The refuerzos are ALL ours!

We shared the dedication story at 3 de Febrero and went to lunch at a local asado.  The missionaries were starving and since the kitchen and dining room at the mission home are ripped up at the moment, it worked out perfectly for all of us. After a little bit of orientation, Presidente started with personal interviews. Completing all 20 and deciding which companion is for whom is serious business. The missionaries were good-natured about all the wait time though. I loved the opportunity to chat with them and get to know them better. I practically had their faces memorized before they arrived, but it was super fun to get to know the personalities behind those picture faces.

Bienvenidos!
Welcome!
Welcome to Buenos Aires West!

  1. These poor missionaries and many more are so eager to serve. We reminded ours that it matters not where you serve but how you serve. He is temporarily waiting for you in Tennessee. :)
