Thankfully, we can still receive our missionaries from Chile. We received 7 of them today and 2 awesome elders from Argentina, as well. We also have one missionary waiting to go to another mission.I cannot believe we are having yet another transfer without receiving any visa waiters!
They have been in the CCM two weeks. Interestingly, there is not an 18-year-old among them, but we have two that are 24. We are so happy for their desire to serve and we look forward to getting to know them all.
The Rio de la Plata has a mud bottom and actually looks brown rather than silver like its name in Spanish. However, something about today, I don’t know why, but the river actually looked a silvery-blue. It was the prettiest I have ever seen it.
One of our refuerzos got right to his purpose and made a contact with someone walking along the river and has a reference with her address! After chatting with him, she saw us and came over to tell us that she stopped and talked to him because he was smiling and that she had a wonderful feeling talking with him. Of course!
Por suerte, todavía podemos recibir nuestros misioneros de Chile. Recibimos 7 de ellos hoy y 2 elderes capos de Argentina también. Tenemos un misionero mas que esta esperando su visa para ir a la otra misión.
No puedo creer que estamos teniendo otro traslado mas sin recibir misioneros con visas!
Ellos han estado en el CCM 2 semanas. Es interesante que no hay ninguna que tiene 18 anos entre ellos pero tenemos 2 con 24 anos. Estamos muy felices por sus deseos a servir y esperamos la oportunidad para conocerlos mejor.
El Rio de la Plata tiene fondo de barro y en realidad parece mas marrón en vez de plata como su nombre. Sin embargo, algo especial hoy, no se porque pero el río en realidad parecí como azul y plata. Fue lo mas lindo que yo lo he visto.
Uno de nuestro misioneros fue directamente a su propósito e hizo un contacto con alguien caminando al lado del río y tiene una referencia con sus datos. Después de charlar con el, ella nos vio y vino para decirnos que ella paro y hablo con el porque el estaba sonriendo y ella tuvo sentimientos hermosos hablando con el. Por supuesto!
