Although it seems like it should get easier, it just gets tougher to send home our missionaries. Among this group we had our first visa waiters. The hermanas from the states spent three transfers there and I have to say that it still seems like they just barely arrived!
We prepared for the rain and the 29 degree drop in temperature from yesterday. We were actually really fortunate and had very little to cope with as we made our travels around the city.
The Plaza de Mayo, the Teatro Colon, la Boca, Puerto Madero, Recoleta and the Parque Tres de Febrero were all soaked, but we had extremely good luck everywhere we went and had just enough break in the weather to do the things we wanted to do. We were leaving some places just at the exact moment when the rains began again.
We spent a great day together celebrating the country we love and the beautiful experiences that we have shared.
Aunque parece que seria mas fácil, en realidad es mas difícil mandar nuestros misioneros a sus casas cada vez. Entre este grupo tenemos nuestros primeros ¨visa waiters.¨Las hermanas de los EEUU pasaron tres traslados allá y tengo que decir que parece que acaban de llegar. Nos preparamos para la lluvia y la caída grande de la temperatura de ayer. En realidad tuvimos suerte mientras hacíamos nuestro tour de la ciudad. La Plaza de Mayo, el Teatro Colon, la Boca, Puerto Madero, Recoleta y el Parque Tres de Febrero estaban muy mojados pero tuvimos un break de la lluvia para hacer las cosas que queríamos hacer. Algunas veces justo mientras salimos la lluvia empieza otra vez.
Pasamos un buen día juntos celebrando el país que amamos y las experiencias lindas que ya hemos compartido.
