We have never done a Pastores Tour on Saturday. It was a necessity with all of the other things that are going on in the mission right now. We found that there were some great advantages. For example…nobody was visiting the Plaza de Mayo early in the morning so they had some unique photo opportunities.
We visited some places in the morning that we normally visit in the afternoon and vice versa.
One of our missionaries got to sing a solo for our group and another group of visitors while touring the Teatro Colon.
There is a really nice fair on Saturdays next to the cemetery in Recoleta, so we had extra shopping opportunities, as well.
Last and best of all was our trip to the Parque Tres de Febrero where I think everyone shed tears remembering their first visit and what a difference this experience has made in their lives.
