is transfer day and p-day almost the entire mission was available to come in for the meeting. When Presidente asked all the missionaries that were new this transfer to stand, there was an audible gasp. I took a ton of pictures outside before the meeting started. However, all of the refuerzos (new missionaries) and all of the trainers were inside receiving training in separate sessions. I have been trying to meet our last two hermanas for a couple of days now. They arrived and went directly to areas to work over the weekend, so I was super happy to finally see them!
Ready and waiting to find out who will be their first companions. They did have to wait though. First Presidente spoke for a little bit, then we showed the September in the Mission video, then we celebrated birthdays and I think there were something like 60 because we were acknowledging the birthdays for October and November since we don’t have a transfer next month. We showed the Pastores video and then the Pastores from this transfer shared their testimonies. Then it was time for showing the new companionships. Afterwards, Presidente shared the presentation that he made at the mission president’s seminar and then it was off to the cybers to write parents.
Porque es el día de los traslados y p day, casi toda la misión fue disponible para venir a la reunión. Cuando el Presidente les pidió a todos los misioneros nuevos este traslado había un suspiro de sorpresa audible. Saque un montón de fotos afuera antes de la reunión. Sin embargo, todos los refuerzos, los nuevos, y todos sus entrenadores estuvieron adentro de la capilla para recibir su entrenamiento. He estado tratando de conocer a nuestras ultimas dos hermanas hace algunos dias ahora. Ellas llegaron y fueron directamente a sus áreas para trabajar durante el fin de la semana entonces estaba súper feliz, por fin, de verles.
Listos y esperando para conocer sus primeros compañeros. Ellos sí necesitaban esperar. Primero, el Presidente hablo un ratito, después mostramos el video de setiembre en la misión, después celebramos cumpleaños y pienso que había algo como 60 porque tuvimos los cumpleaños de octubre y noviembre porque no tenemos un traslado el próximo mes. Mostramos el video de Los Pastores y después los Pastores de este traslado compartieron sus testimonios. Por fin fue el momento para mostrar los compañerismos nuevos. Después, el Presidente compartió su presentación que hizo en la conferencia de los presidentes y después fue el momento ir a los cibers para escribir a sus padres.
