the hermanas!

We had a conference today with all of our hermanas. Presidente and I ran classes in two rooms of the building. We kept the English and Spanish sister separated because we wanted everyone to understand the workshops really well. We have exactly 7 sisters that have been in the mission for more than 4 transfers. That means that the English sisters are busy learning the language and the Latin sisters are training with little experience. Presidente and I traded off doing the classes English and Spanish. During breaks we gave a nod to Halloween in the United States and taught the Latin sisters about trick-or-treat. Our luncheon was really beautiful and delicious and we are super grateful to Sister Ashton who made that all happen. The best part is how excited these sisters are to be missionaries. It is such a joy to spend time with them. I think they are the most beautiful missionaries in all the world…both inside and out.

Tuvimos una conferencia hoy con todas las hermanas. El Presidente y yo hicimos clases en dos cuartos de la capilla. Separamos las hermanas que hablan ingles y las latinas porque queríamos todas entiendan los talleres muy bien. Tuvimos solamente 7 hermanas que han estado en la misión mas de 4 traslados. Significa que las hermanas que hablan ingles están muy ocupadas aprendiendo el idioma y las hermanas latinas están entrenando con poca experiencia. El President y yo cambiamos haciendo las clases en ingles y castellano. Durante nuestras pausas decidimos compartir la tradición de Halloween de EEUU y enseñamos las hermana latinas acerca de trick or treat. Nuestro almuerzo fue muy lindo y rico y estamos súper agradecidos a la Hermana Ashton, quien hizo todo. La mejor parte de todo es el animo que estas hermanas tienen de ser misioneras. Es un gozo pasar tiempo con ellas. Pienso que ellas son las mas hermosas misioneras en todo el mundo...por dentro y por fuera.
