hola santiago!

The interim mission president’s seminar is being held in Santiago, Chile this year. All of the presidents and their wives met at the chapel/mtc/temple grounds. We had lunch and a great cultural presentation by local young adults. Afterwards we enjoyed a temple session. Many of the presidents live far away from a local temple so that was a special event for all of us to be together there.

Afterwards, we met with one of our former missionaries. He was secretary to the president and learned English while working in the mission office. His English has continued to improve and he works at the mtc in Chile training new missionaries for work in the field. He is wearing a tag, but it is only an identification tag, and so it was a real joy to give him a big hug!
