We had a great stake conference in Ramos Mejia. The first speaker was a teenager that joined the church. He told a story about one day when he was at his house praying whether he should serve a mission. At that moment, he felt very strongly that he should and so he asked the Lord to bless him to be able to obtain the things he would need, like a suit and shoes.
He told us less than an hour later, his Bishop showed up at his house and said that he had something for him in his car. Imagine his surprise when he went out to the car, and there was a suit and shoes there for him. The Bishop told him that the Lord loves him, and of course, of that he has no doubt.
All of the messages were beautiful and at the end of the conference, a primary choir stood up to sing, but then the missionaries in the Ramos Mejia Zone joined them. I was really surprised because I had no idea that was going to happen. They sang a compilation of two missionary songs
the childish voices singing…We are as the army of Helaman and we have been taught in our youth
and the missionary voices adding in an extra part…Pum, pum, pum
and all together…And we will be the Lord’s missionaries to bring the world his truth. Pum, pum, pum
It was fabulous!
Tuvimos una conferencia buenísima en Ramos Mejía. La primera persona en hablar era un joven hombre que se unió con la iglesia. El nos dijo una historia acerca de un día cuando el estaba orando en su casa con una pregunta si el debe servir una misión. En aquel momento sintió fuertemente que si, entonces el le pidió al Senor su ayuda con cosas que el va a necesitar como un traje y zapatos.
Nos dijo que menos de una hora después su obispo llego a su casa y le dijo que el tuvo algo en su auto para el. Imagine su sorpresa cuando el fue al auto y encontró un traje y zapatos. El obispo le dijo que el Senor le ama y por supuesto, el no tiene ninguna duda de eso.
Todos los mensajes eran lindos y el fin de la conferencia un coro de los chicos en la primaria vinieron adelante para cantar y después lo misioneros de la zona Ramos Mejía también. Fue una sorpresa para mi porque no tuve ninguna idea que va a pasar. Ellos cantaron una compilación de dos cantos misioneros..
Los chicos cantando, Somos como el ejercito de helaman debemos obedecer
y las voces misioneros tuvieron una parte extra, Pum, Pum, Pum
y juntos, seremos misioneros del senor llevando almundo su verdad.
Fue maravilloso!
