Winter has returned to this part of Argentina this week with temperatures near freezing every night. Today it was sunny and cold, which made for a chilly luncheon, but we had a beautiful experience learning together.
Presidente nearly fell in the pool organizing the group picture, and even the near miss was quite entertaining.
After the closing prayer, it seemed as if everyone was busy writing some final notes, and I thought that those final words of Presidente’s must have really been inspiring. It wasn’t until just now, posting the pictures that I realized that they were actually writing little thank you notes to us, which I found later in the kitchen. (I have to say that his final words were, nevertheless very inspiring.)These are wonderful hermanas!
Brianna y yo asistimos el barrio Vicente Lopez. Es el lugar también donde ella fue a seminario cada mañana. Hay mujeres buenísimas en ese barrio y muchas de ellas son misioneras retornadas. Entonces tuvimos una capacitación especial para las hermanas e invitamos a algunas de las hermanas del barrio a ser las discurtantes.
El invierno regreso a esta parte de Argentina esta semana con temperaturas muy cerca de 0 cada noche. Hoy tuvimos sol y frío los cuales hicieron un almuerzo frío también pero tuvimos una experiencia linda aprendiendo juntas.
El Presidente casi se cayo a la pileta mientras organizaba la foto de todas y aun la casi caída fue muy divertida.
Después de la oración final me parece como todas estaban ocupadas escribiendo palabras finales y pensé que estas palabras finales del Presidente deben haber sido muy inspiradoras. No fue hasta ahora, buscando a las fotos que me di cuenta que ellas en realidad están escribiéndonos pequeñas notas de agradecimiento, las cuales encontré mas tarde en la cocina. (Tengo que decir sin embargo, que sus palabras finales estuvieron muy inspiradoras.) Ellas son hermanas buenísimas!
