Honestly, I think you can imagine how special our experience was last night, when I tell you that both Elder Ballard and Elder Eyring spoke about it this morning. Elder Ballard mentioned how beautiful it was to see them fulfill their calling and that they “radiated a marvelous and powerful spirit.” I can’t give too many quotes, but he gave us the idea that times are tough and they are going to get tougher. He talked about how important it is that every single leader in the church, including every single father and mother has the responsibility to prepare these young people to carry on their shoulders the future of the Kingdom of God in their own wards and stakes after their missions. He said that they needed to be taught, loved and supported in Powerful Ways.
He told them that every Stake President needs to love the missionaries like their mission presidents does. (Okay, so as long as long as they love them with every fiber of their being, then they can approximate how we feel!) Elder Ballard feels a great urgency that the missionaries have the opportunity to teach so that we can fill the Temple with His children. I felt like he was telling us that every member in every place in the world needs to support the missionaries to the fullest extent.
Elder Eyring also spoke about the missionaries and again about the urgency we should feel as we are making the Kingdom of God ready for Him. He told us that all the things we do should contribute to this effort, and that we need to pray about where we can make the biggest difference for good. He spoke very personally about his prayers last night asking Heavenly Father if he had done ALL that he was supposed to do yesterday. He felt a great desire to read the hearts and touch the life of every missionary. It was such a powerful sentiment and you truly could feel the depth of his desire. I am quite sure that he achieved it.
When we finished with the meeting, we, along with all the others present, had the opportunity to shake their hands. As we gathered outside, my husband noticed three golf carts and said to me that he thought we were going to have a photo opportunity. Sure enough, a few minutes later we did. Elder Eyring was so cute. When he saw everyone snapping pictures, he pulled out his phone and started taking pictures of us!

The Mission Presidents and wives for Buenos Aires South, North and :) Oeste
Los presidentes de las estacas y sus esposas de toda Argentina invitaron a asistir a reunión esta mañana en el edificio cerca del Templo. Obvio, había otro gente invitada también y nosotros estábamos entre ellos.
En serio, puede imaginar cuan especial fue nuestra experiencia anoche cuando les dijo que tanto el Elder Ballard como el Elder Eyring hablaran acerca de la reunión anoche, esta mañana. El Elder Ballard menciono cuan hermoso fue ver a ellos cumpliendo con sus llamamientos y que ellos ¨brillaron con un espíritu maravilloso y poderoso.¨No puedo darles muchas citas, pero el nos dio la idea que tenemos mementos duros y vamos a tener momentos mas duros. Hablo acerca de la importancia de cada líder en la iglesia e incluso cada padre y madre, tienen la responsabilidad de preparar a estos jóvenes de llevar el reino de Dios futuro en sus hombros en sus propios barrios y estacas después de sus misiones. Dijo que ellos necesitan ser enseñados, amados y soportados en maneras poderosas.
Dijo que cada Presidente de estaca necesita amar a los misioneros como su Presidente de la misión. (Bueno, entonces ellos necesitan amarlos con todo su corazón, entonces ellos pueden venir cerca como sentimos.) El Elder Ballard siente un urgencia de que los misioneros tengan la oportunidad de ensenar para poder llenar el Templo con Sus hijos. Sentí como el estaba diciendo que cada miembro en cada lugar del mundo necesita apoyar a los misioneros incondicionalmente.
El Elder Eyring también hablo acerca de los misioneros y otra vez acerca de la urgencia que debemos sentir sobre como preparamos el Reino de Dios para que este listo para El. El nos dijo que todas las cosas que hacemos, deberán contribuir a este esfuerzo, y necesitamos orar acerca de donde podemos hacer la mejor diferencia para el bien. El hablo muy personalmente acerca de sus oraciones anoche, preguntando al Padre Celestial si el ha hecho todo lo que el necesitaba hacer ayer. Sintió un gran deseo de leer los corazones y tocar la vida de cada misionero. Fue un sentimiento poderoso y puede sentir el profundidad de su deseo. Estoy segura que el lo cumplió.
Cuando terminamos con la reunión, nosotros, con los otros alla tuvimos la oportunidad de darnos la mano. Cuando fuimos afuera, mi esposo vio tres carritos de golf y me dijo que el pensó que vamos a tener una oportunidad de sacar una foto. Si, algunos momentos después, lo hicimos. El Elder Eyring estaba muy divertido. Cuando el nos noto a todos sacando fotos, el encontró su teléfono y empezó a sacar fotos de nosotros!
