Presidente took the assistants and went on a field trip this weekend. Elder Quackenbush was seeing the far western side of the mission for the first time. They made it a-l-m-o-s-t all the way to Chile. They stopped, however, at the last outpost of the mission in General Villegas. On the way there, they visited with the hermanas, Azcurra and Yingling in Junin. They made empanadas for lunch and suggested to Presidente that he also needed a hat for the heat.
The next stop was at the pension of Elder Harriott and Elder Rook in Chacabuco, where Elder Baudon updated his bicycle riding skills.
They had 37 people in attendance today in General Villegas. Elder Fish (on the right) was sustained as the new Branch President. Of course, he will be aided by his competent companion, Elder Godfrey.
